About DCR

DC Runographer is a middle-of-the-pack runner who started running in 2008 after a fateful weigh-in during Passover had him asking the scale, “Is this thing calibrated correctly?”

He loves taking photos on his runs, often sidestepping hazards (usually other people) with the agility of a land turtle.  He’s been know to steal race trophies for comedic effect, believes the split infinitive gets a bad rap, and hates coconut and people who say they give 110%.

DCR has lived in Washington, DC, for more than 12 years.  His favorite running routes are Rock Creek Park, the Mall, the Capitol, and anything not on the treadmill.
